FJ Dynamics RM21 Rough Ranger Robotic Mower

The FJ Dynamics RM21 Rough Ranger is a modular robotic mower built for golf courses, sports fields, orchards and large-scale turf operations. Instead of a fixed, single-purpose machine, the Rough Ranger takes interchangeable kits — mowing, ball picking, line marking, grass collecting and dew brushing — so one base unit can move between jobs and areas of the site as the season and the workload change.

RTK and LiDAR positioning work together to keep it on line even under tree cover, while a front suspension chassis and floating cutting deck hold a steady cut across rough, undulating ground. Smart multi-zone path planning lets it work the site on its own, covering up to 12,000 m² (3 acres) per charge and up to 108,000 m² (26.7 acres) across a 72-hour cycle in fast-charging mode.
